All-Hazard Incident Management Teams (AHIMT) play an essential role in the management of, and response to, local, regional, and national emergencies, natural disasters, and public events. Incident Solutions AHIMT development program helps develop AHIMTs through process and procedure development, classroom and field training, exercises, and mentorship. Team development is critical to team success. Through this process, team members learn to work as a team and learn the knowledge and skills necessary to perform effectively under stressful and dynamic conditions.
Individual Evaluation (PTB Sign Off)
Qualification in the Incident Command System (ICS) is a performance-based process. Of prime importance is that a trainee demonstrates successful performance of tasks in a Position Task Book (PTB), as assessed by a qualified evaluator. Completion of a PTB provides a method to document satisfactory performance of the critical tasks to safely and successfully perform in the position. Incident Solutions ICS consultants can serve as qualified evaluators, assisting trainees with their individual qualification process by “signing off” on completed tasks.
IMT Transition to Type 2
Is your IMT a high-functioning Type 3 team ready to transition to a Type 2 IMT? Or maybe you’re a Type 4 IMT aspiring for the Type 3 qualification. Either way, Incident Solutions IMT consultants can mentor your IMT through this evolution, enhancing your team’s overall ability to manage incidents of greater complexity.
There are numerous grant programs available to assist state and local jurisdictions with emergency management capabilities and capacity building. Incident Solutions consultants can assist your organization with navigating this process and obtaining the funds to prepare your organization and enhance your ability to respond.
